Early Childhood Special Education
"Where Little Cubs Begin Big Journeys!"
We are excited to welcome your little cub to a world of wonder, growth, and discovery! Our Early Childhood Special Education program is designed to provide a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment where 3- and 4-year-olds can develop essential skills while exploring the world around them.
In our classrooms, we focus on fostering confidence, curiosity, and connection. Through play, hands-on activities, and engaging lessons, your child will build a strong foundation for their learning journey.
Guided by our CUBS principles, we help every child thrive: Caring, Understanding and Unique, Brave and Successful (CUBS):
Caring- We create a space where kindness and love help every child feel safe and valued.
Understanding and Unique- We embrace every child’s unique needs, supporting them with patience and compassion. We celebrate each child’s individuality, encouraging their creativity and self-expression.
Brave- We help our little cubs try new things and develop confidence as they take steps toward independence.
Successful - We cheer on every accomplishment, no matter how big or small, as we help your child grow.
From learning to share and build friendships to exploring early literacy, math, and motor skills, every moment in our program is designed to nurture your child’s development.
At Edgewood Elementary, we believe that every journey begins with a first step. Together, we’re building bright futures, one little cub at a time!
