2nd Grade at Edgewood Elementary

Welcome to 2nd grade, a year of exploration, growth, and building independence! At Edgewood Elementary, we see 2nd grade as a special time when children strengthen their academic skills, grow as critical thinkers, and deepen their understanding of themselves and their community.

Our 2nd graders are guided by the CUBS principles, which define who we are and the values we hold:

Your child will strengthen their reading and writing skills, explore math concepts with confidence, and dive into hands-on science and social studies projects. Collaboration, creativity, and curiosity are at the heart of everything we do, as we prepare students to rise to new challenges and reach for success.
