Welcome to Muskegon Heights Academy Track and Field!

At Muskegon Heights Academy, we are committed to developing student-athletes who not only excel in the sport of track and field but also embody the values of discipline, perseverance, and teamwork. Our track and field program is designed to help athletes of all levels achieve their personal best while fostering a supportive, inclusive, and competitive environment.


Our Program

Muskegon Heights Academy offers a comprehensive track and field program that emphasizes both individual growth and team unity. Whether you're a sprinter, distance runner, hurdler, thrower, or jumper, we provide a platform for every athlete to hone their skills and reach new heights.

Our key offerings include:

  • Sprints: Build speed, power, and technique for 100m, 200m, and 400m races.

  • Distance: Focus on stamina and pacing for 800m, 1600m, and 3200m events.

  • Hurdles: Develop agility and rhythm in both the 100m and 300m hurdles.

  • Field Events: Compete in high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, and discus throw.

  • Relays: Work as a team in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays, combining speed and strategy

  • Coaching Staff

    Our track and field program is led by experienced coaches who are passionate about helping athletes reach their full potential. With a focus on technique, mental toughness, and performance, our coaching staff is dedicated to pushing our athletes to succeed both on and off the track.

  • Practice Schedule

    Our practices are designed to help each athlete improve their skills and prepare for competitions. Practice times vary by season and event, but we aim to create a balanced training environment that fosters both individual improvement and team cohesion.

    Practice Days & Times:

    • Monday to Friday: 4:00pm-6:00pm

    • Location: Muskegon Heights Academy Track & Field Facilities (Gym & Field)
